The Conde Explorers was founded in 2004 and was able to get a parade permit in 2005.
According to the group's web site, "The Conde Explorers became the first integrated Mardi Gras society to parade in downtown Mobile. ... In addition to its parade and ball, the Conde Explorers hold several parties throughout the year, and its members perform volunteer work."

This year, the Explorers paraded on February 11, right behind the Pharaohs and Order of Hebe, which all started at 6:30 p.m.
The theme of the parade was Exploring a Night at the movies. It included the group's own newly redone emblem float, and the rest were rented from the Conde Cavaliers.
